Hi! IF you're willing to share, I thought it might be helpful for the rest of us to better understand what the market prices are for the 200 series (and LX 570 I suppose). I'm personally looking for one, have found a few, and curious what others' purchase prices have been so I can negotiate (or not) properly.

Please share purchase price, year, mileage at purchase, and location (east/west/south, etc...)

Thanks and happy hunting for those also looking.

I have a 2020 Heritage Edition with 23K miles. Triple locked, regeared to 3.9, BP51 suspension, sliders, armor ... all done by SLEE. I am wondering what the right sale price for my vehicle might be? I am buying a new home and I am thinking of streamlining my finances hence the thought of parting with the Land Cruiser, otherwise, I really like it and I know it will be trouble-free for years to come.

Just trying to get an idea of what its value is in today's market to see if it makes financial sense to part with it.

Put it on cars and bids or bring a trailer with a reserve price of $80k and see what happens. I’d guess it would sell for $90-100k.
2nd option would be to hit up Eric Sargent or the owner of slee and see if they would do a consignment sale. A clean, unmolested, tastefully modified cruiser should sell for a pretty penny.

Hey good people! I'm in the process of buying at a 2015 LC. Less than 28K miles. 2 Owner (1st was a 2yr lease). Purchase price of $63,000. Minor accident at ~23k miles (damage to front, airbags did not deploy, definition according to CarFax "Minor damage is usually cosmetic, including dents or scratches to the vehicle body") . It's a super clean southern truck with zero rust. I had a PPI done at a Toyota dealer without any issues (aside from recommendation to change air filter which I did for a cost of $29). On the CarFax it has a NAM (not actual miles) alert at just over 27k miles. The current owner bought it from CarMax when purchasing a couple vans (seems to be a great dude, owns a successful business that converts vans for handicap use and is wheelchair bound himself). The tech that did the PPI said he didn't see any evidence of odometer tampering. Thoughts appreciated ...

Can't comment on the "NAM" alert, but assuming it's just a glitch and everything else checks your boxes that seems like a pretty decent deal.

What color interior? What color exterior? Any signs of seat wear? Excessive rock chips on front bumper? I own a 2015 lx with 80k miles and it looks damn near new. How long do you intend to own it?
I ask because that carfax report will follow it forever. In my mind you are paying a big premium on a LC with a wreck and potential odometer tampering. If it’s perfect color combo and you will drive it for 10 years and then give it to your kids, then it’s not as big of a deal.

Its Black on Black. No signs of wear on the seats and the exterior is in great condition as well. The under body is so clean I'd lick it. I do plan on keeping it forever but the concern as you said is that the Carfax will follow it. The current owner/dealer is going to try to contact the DMV and Carfax to dispute the alert because he truly believes that its a clerical error. I'm purchasing it through my business as a company vehicle. I have a 2006 LX (Cypress, tan, Slee blueberry bumper) with 156K miles that I run through the woods on the farm.

My thoughts are, what else can I buy for $65k, and the answer is not much. The more I think about it, the more I like that deal. Basically a new LC for $65k. And you will be blown away by how nice the 200 is vs the 100.

A car that has been in an accident is not new.

A front bumper replacement is not an accident. But that’s my thought process.

Unless there are photos of the accident - you will never know.

Further, @FarmCruiser said he had dealer change cabin filter which means the recirculation door is definitely f***ed.
My current truck had a rear end collision prior to my ownership. No airbags deployed. Second owner bought it cpo from Lexus. I’m the 3rd owner, and I’ve had zero issues with it. Good luck finding a 7 year old truck that hasn’t had a bumper replaced…

Huh? I own 3 7+ year old trucks and all on original bumpers and no accidents. 600k combined miles.

To each their own i suppose.

Huh? I have a 2000 LC that has never had a bumper replaced due to damage.

I got lightly hit on my rear, dam thing is plastic almost made out of the same material as the mud flaps. I should have just paid out of pocket as mine now as an accident on it (1k of damage mainly all labor).

Thanks for the reply’s. A lot of valid concerns which I’ve been tossing around in my own head. @tacoduck i agree, I’ve been searching for a few months now. I have found other trucks with over twice the amount of miles asking the same price. albeit one owner no accidents.

@04UZJ100 it was the engine air filter that was ‘a little dirty’ (i should have clarified). I optimistically chalked it up as the Toyota dealer having to find something.

My feeling on the ‘minor accident’ is it’s a truck, and that front bumper is coming off anyway. (if that was on the CarFax when i bought my e39 M5 it would be a different story)
When i bought the LX 10 years ago from a guy who owned three Hair Salons in NYC it was ‘sooo pretty (wife’s words). I pulled the running boards, put the Slee bumper and KO2’s on it. When driving through the woods on overgrown trails, my wife said ‘what are you doing!? your going to ruin this car” - It’s not a car, it’s a truck. And it’s wasn’t made for soccer mom’s who live on cul-de-sacs…Point being, based on the CarFax definition of a ‘minor accident’, i probably have one once a month on the farm.

I've driven a salvage vehicle, as long as there is no frame damage you are good. My 2016 LC drove the same after it was hit so no real damage other than the dumb plastic breaking.

Here are some pics. Front ..
