I can't wait to go on co-op! Haha, lookin great johnny! I love the bumper, and the lift is sick. Too bad you'll be in KY for the trip. We'll catch up in school. I'm pretty sure I'm bringin up my 33's this year.

Thanks buddy! We'll definitely go wheeling with the Offroaders club this fall.

Updated to-do list.

  • Diff Breathers
  • [STRIKE]New e-brake actuator cables[/STRIKE]
  • Trailer paint
  • [STRIKE]Sliders[/STRIKE]

The steering stabilizer I don't feel is needed anymore, now that I have shocks on the front. It's surprisingly stable and I have next to no vibes at highway speed :bounce::bounce2::bounce: I am completely satisfied with the airsoft BB's that David and I put in the tires. I was worried at first, but with the shocks, it's smooth.

Mounted up the old skid plate. Rusty hunk of junk, but it's better than not having one. Did a rough alignment, re-invented my idler pulley tensioner ( desmogged ) so it can hold tension, did some other misc. crap that I can't think of now. In other news, Kenny, David and I ( mostly Kenny ) built a new drawer system for Kenny's 80 this week. I think it came out perfect.

Pretty much ready to go to CMCC!!!

ready!.webp

Your 60 looks like a jerk. Like it would eat other cars, and babies, and fight panthers bare-fisted. I like it.

BTW, why are sliders marked out? Looks like you could use some. :D

Hahahaha, That's pretty good.

Sliders are crossed off because they won't get done before I leave for Coal Mine tomorrow. They aren't removed because it needs to get done, but won't get done just yet.

Bumper will arrive today!! Whohoo!!

Painted and installed the bumper last night. One word: BADASS!!

Here is the trip I am about to embark on. FYI, I've only put 300 miles on the rig since the SOA was done, so this will be the real test.

Again...can't wait to see you back in NY. Perhaps Dave's sometime this fall?

Lookin' good! It's a real beater now! That badass front guard does top it off!

Where did you get those sliders and latches? How much would it cost of your time and money to ship four of those to norway? I'll pay up front for them, they are just frikkin impossible to find over here in some what a HeavyDuty version, and with full slider extention! how long are they? pm me for info...

And have a nice trip! The best from Norway goes out!

good luck johnny! are you going to make the GATOR event in september too?

Maybe gator. In sept I'll be back in Rochester, so it'll be quite the hike. We'll see ;)

Thank you! Kenny bought the slides at Lowes, which is a home improvement type place here in the USA. They're 150lb models and do the trick quite well!! Have you looked around at home improvement places there, or hardware stores or something??

Sooooooo, back on the road to volunteer in WV for this coming week. The 60 was absolutely incredible, although I did lose a bead once. Aired down too far. Anyway, it turns out that the front axle has a locker in it!!!!!! I was in such disbelief when my spotter said it had to have one because the tires were both spinning all the time. Definitely a welcome suprise.

Yeah, it turns out the holstein was locked front and rear! I think you owe me a set of storage boxes for the cow's a$$ to even out this trade.
Just kidding, sounds like you're puttin it to good use.

Paul

What a surprise it was indeed. I had an incredible time and like I said, I was blown away at how awesome Moonshine was. She's got a killer passenger side lean now but I don't care. I'll post up pictures and a small report later tonight when I get more in.
