Looks great. How did you manage to paint all the pieces with snow on the ground? I have the same problem - needing to paint parts and it's an overcast 34 degrees outside. Haven't yet painted inside in a closet, but considered it a few times.

Nicely done Steve!! Heading back to Junction soon, let me know if I can do anything for ya ?

You aren’t suppose to paint when it‘s 34 deg? Uh oh…

Snow on the ground, but these afternoons can hit 50. I also hang the pieces in the sun.

Thanks for the offer Jon, there is a small interior panel at the paint store that was being used to match the interior color. I've been meaning to get that back.
I'm a little torn on what direction to go on the bodywork. I cleaned up the rust stains on the front bib with some CLR, then threw some wax on it. I think I might run it like this for awhile.

That looks perfect. Run it!

Been playing with the CLR some more, can you tell which side of the hood got the treatment?
The fuel tank is back from the radiator shop, it's now sealed and pressure tested. They put some sort of red varnish looking stuff in it, and got the rocks out.
Also picked up a jar of the paint I had made. Haven't shot anything yet, but I'm excited about the color match.

The previous owners must've spent all their time running up behind people on gravel roads as I've never seen such a peppered windshield. I caught this in the right light and noticed the shadows of the windshield wipers where they blocked rocks and the glass is actually smoother in that area.

What color code is that? My dash is “grey” looking but I’m not sure what color to use .

I think my ashtray is the grey? I can get this color matched. Thanks for the info

The dash is a darker gray than the ash tray I think
I was trying to figure out the ashtray, gloevbox and instrument bezel colors. I was thinking they were the same color as the dash with the difference being the sheen. The dashboard is a dull finish and the ashtray, glovebox door and iinstrument bezel seem to be a glossy finish.

Only spent a couple hrs on the LV last week, pulled the headliner down and fluid filmed the motor bay in preparation for the F135.View attachment 2850550View attachment 2850553View attachment 2850555
I'm just catching up on this. Awesome find. It looks like you have been warned off on the SOR seat covers, good thing if that's what they look like. I can vouch for the headliner though. I bought one and installed it a year or more ago and it is excellent! You have the bows, so get the liner before it gets discontinued. He didn't have many left when I bought mine.

Update time. My busy season at work came on strong, that hasn't slowed the LV project much. Just slowed my posting about it. To pick up where we left off: Rear axle is rebuilt and ready to roll, had a machine shop do the races on the axle shafts.
