It is not dry....Moab and Park City are the only places that you can live in UT and not be LDS and live a fairly normal existence.
As for the hauler, the only way to make that worth it is if you have the multi level one and it is full. Most of our rigs won't fit on one of those anyway.
Last year we ran the numbers on renting a truck and driving 3 rigs and a rhino out to the Hammers in CA on a flatbed.
The truck was modern but it still only got 4-5 mpg. It turned out to be a good bit cheaper to drive 2 diesel trucks out towing 2 rigs each behind them. Like....25% cheaper.

I'ma prolly just tow the FJToy with the "Tow Rig".. it gets 30+ mpg
stacked beer cases duct taped together are great booster seats

This sounds like a great trip. Cruise Moab would be fun but I personally can make that event that time of the year. Would you put up with a few Cajun tagalongs?If so I will pitch it to our group I think a handful would go. Like Lenny last time I road Moab was in a rented heep on some 33's and couldn't believe the traction and the trails we tackled in it. I've looked forward to going back in one of my own rigs.

When did Rankin county go wet. Do they have liquor stores or just beer in groc. stores?
Arkansas is full of dry counties. Sucks to dry 50 miles for beer. Glad Hot Springs is wet. There is one town in Arkansas where liquor stores are open on sundays.
