Ever pulled and replaced a 2f out of a fj60 with the front bucket?

Thx.
No, have not. I was going to do a 1FZ + transmission but decided it was too sketchy. Went with an engine hoist

This was last year. I had built a large platform of sorts with intention of putting a shed on near the house. After building it all up and staring at it for a couple weeks, I decided I didn't like it and repurposed to what is now the chicken coop. Hooked on the forks and found a way to tip it perpendicular to then get onto the forks. I'd estimate 1100+ lbs that got relocated a couple hundred feet away between all the 2x8s, 4x4s, OSB subfloor, fasteners, etc. My face signals my take on sketch I think...

Funny bit is after the stressful relo, a couple days later we just disassembled the entire thing and took the pieces to then build the coop base from scratch. Beers and determination make for great stories...

Nice! The next one I buy is going to have a cab; my current one is open.
I had been running this old ‘79 John Deere 950 since I was just a 13 y/o farm kid. 2025 was the year I finally treated my 57 y/o self to a cab tractor. I absolutely love it!

I can't hold a candle to capable machines that everyone here has but I have legacy with this one.

My dad purchased this Allis Chalmers CA in Nov'73. It is too old to qualify as a mini-tractor, but it is a absolutely a small chore tractor.
The day that he bought this tractor is frozen into my memory. Frozen because I got to drive it 40 miles home on that blustery day in northern Illinois. I was too young to drive the pickup home, so I got the quality time with the new tractor. The drive was very interesting because Dad got bored following the 12 mph lap burning pace from the Allis, so he pointed me in the right direction and he went bar hopping. He did return after an hour to ensure I was on the right country road. Luckily, he came a cup of hot chocolate, which I truly needed, and he headed out to the next bar. I got home before dust and it seemed like it took days to warm up. As I recall, I scored 4 cups of hot chocolate. I guess he might have invented Uber eats a few decades too early for credit.

Hidden from view is our grandkids. The love riding in the two-wheel cart as I pull them around the yard.

Had to go to the Maul. Some of this red oak was too much for the splitting axe.

Collecting firewood. The trunk of this oak was ca. 2' diameter and each chunk ca. 100 lbs. Widely guessing on the weight based on how much effort was needed just to roll them. I could load 4-5 in the bucket before full, took 3-4 trips to move all of these chunks.
