That what I thought at first but I think it would mount on the tire carrier. There are two holes on the rear kinda like the Slee.CB antenna bracket?

I would buy again but there are a few things I will need to modify to my liking. Over the summer I slammed the rear down in a creek bed in Colorado. No damage to the bumper but the jolt put the tire carrier into the rear door stretching the paint. It sits a bit too close for my liking and I need to hack off a 1/2” off do the rear square tubing. So I know this is an old thread but I’m debating on buying this same bumper/spare tire carrier. How is yours holding up? Would you buy it again?
Interesting. I like the look of using the factory taillights. So can you open the passenger rear door without opening the spare tire? Are you running 33’s? Thanks for the quick response. Metal tech has installation instructions on their website. I didn’t open it so I’m not sure how good they are.I would buy again but there are a few things I will need to modify to my liking. Another issue is mounting the highlift. It’s not great. And since I didn’t get directions I kinda winged it. When looking at the photos on their website you will notice they don’t even have the lift mounted. It’s just sitting on the bumper for the photo shoot. Kinda lame.
