Anybody ever rebuilt an engine at CLC?

Found 2 3FE motors for sale and thought
It would be good learning experience. I now
Have a shop, so I have a place to scatter parts
And keep things torn apart long term.

Got a question about barbs on the tranny cooling lines. In the process of doing the tranny cooler project I cut through the barbs trying to cut the crimp off. I am assuming my only options now are to find used ones and attempt to cut the crimp off again. Any ideas suggestions?

Greg

Thanks for suggestion. Found a guy who
brazens out of the back of his truck. He
fixed it and finished the other and crimped
both for 30 bucks.

did you guy sell you some ice cream too?

This morning I was driving the 62 after it has sat for about a month and it took more gas pedal to get it moving. Usually it will start to move when you put in drive and let off brake without gas. I thought parking brake might be stuck and cycled that on and off. Seemed better but later it was doing it again after leaving an appointment. Once I get up to speed everything seems normal.

A separate thing I noticed was after I shut it down I could hear what sounded like bubbles in water or a gurgling sound.

Any ideas?
