You should hear some of the questions I used to ask Greg. I bet he hung up the phone shaking his head and wondering how the hell I lived to whatever age I was at that time.

Thanks for the encouragement. Brian and Wes stopped by after I got the drum off and helped me tear down and clean out the brake and put it all back together. (Thanks guys) Looked incredibly good for how old it all is.
Next night we have to get after the alternator. I think it is the original which is incredible.

Then we had beers and BBQ at Central BBQ. Umm Umm good. Which got me to thinking that CLC needs to get Jess to do a cooking team for Memphis in May BBQ. That would be an epic party.

Yeah the cooking team would be stupid crazy......i don't remember much of the fun times I have had down there...
 
brakes = check
alternator = to do
beer & BBQ = tasted great

Nice to finally turn some wrenches again, since I won't have mine down here. That brake job was actually stupid easy, compared with how they normally go. And it wasn't just having 3 guys working on it, either.
 
Why do I miss all the fun stuff when I am out of town? So, we are now having brake parties - that is awesome because I need to re-do the brakes on the 80. Rotors, Pads, probably rebuild the calipers, and of course do something with my almost non-existent emergency brake.

We wait till your in istanbul doing your undercover work, enjoying turkish baths and then go crazy with wrenching. When are you coming back?
 
Well, that is a good question...it sort of depends on these terrorists I am tracking...you know being undercover and all. I will be back for a few days later this month and then I am gone again for all of May...have to go to London, St. Thomas, and Florida to take out some money laundering scumbags. Doing my duty to protect the country...but, I should be back for a bit come June. Even 007 needs a break now and then.

2509 summer. looks like an old car dealership.
2 doors east of the the BP which is at corner of
Hollywood and summer south side of road.
pack one if you have one. between 5 and 6.
