Yep 13 hours of driving, my right knee was throbbing, also Northwest Steve says there is a cruise control available (apologized for not suggesting), so will look into that. Truck been sitting for a year, needs a good deep clean.
Also wont go out again without protection,(flew into Houston) last night in woods had 2 mountain lions close by, pulled up ladder, scared me, but remembered i had a bluetooth boom box in truck, played some jimi Hendricks very loud, never heard anymore noise from cats. Played it again, then hooked up lights around pig and left on. The next morning I stripped and showered, if music didn’t scare them, a 70 year okd fat ass did, probably ran to tgeir cave!

Dakota Digital cruiser control

I too am addicted to cruise control, especially after years on the road in various professional capacities. We're spoiled.
Years ago, pre-Pig days, I was returning late night in my 1993 K Blazer from a daylong project in Cortez, far southwestern Colorado, on a snowy February night. Full moon, about 8 inches on the unplowed road between Dolores and Lizard Head Pass, marveling at the sight of snow-covered pines and forested landscape. Tunes blasting, heater heating, defrosters defrosting, wipers wiping, bucket seats bucketing and feeling pretty macho and bulletproof. Then I realized my two great grandfathers were dealing with those types of situations on foot, horseback and in wagons when they first came to Colorado in the early 1880s. Felt pretty wimpy.

Just curious, did you see those kitties? They usually stay out of site...

Maybe they were digging the Hendrix!
