The idea popped into my head the other day so i thought i would throw it out to the group....Is anyone up for a meet and greet anytime soon? If yes, i would be happy to do my best to arrange things. I guess our options are for a single day event (bbq, etc) somewhere or do an overnighter. Thoughts? If we are up for an overnighter i can see about securing somewhere in the local SB mountains perhaps.

Again, just throwing it out there....
 
I need a day or overnighter break from rehab. I'm in for either.

I hear ya! Lets shoot for an overnighter and if folks want to stay for the just the day, that is good too. We did San Diego County last time so how about heading up to the San Bernardino mountains this time? Once we get an idea if there is interest, i will try to secure a group campsite large enough for us. As a fallback, i believe i will have access to a secluded grassy field open area up in Green Valley Lake (Near Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear). Enough room to camp and a large parking lot for overflow, etc. Great fishing, hiking, etc.

I'm in for an over-nighter.

Fishing and or hiking would be great! I plan on bringing my 5 year old daughter and possibly the wifey and infant.

Stuffed and bacon wrapped Jalapenos will be accompanying me as well!!!:beer:

No dates yet. Just wanted to see if anyone was interested first.
Once we get a few folks that want to make it I will throw out some weekends. I suspect at tis point it will be mid September at the earliest.
 
I'm itching to cruise out! Camping would be great. My 4 year old daughter has been asking to go camping. Not sure if wifey and 14 month old would cruise. Looking forward to meeting up
 
I'm down if you don't mind me in my FJ60 since the 80 is down with a blown HG. :(

We're on our honeymoon from the 23rd to Aug 9th.

I'm interested, depends on date choice, my 7 yr old son and 4 yr old daughter have been begging for a trip

I will start throwing out some dates tomorrow and get a vote together.
 
Hey guys, I've been on the forum for a couple of months now but haven't acquainted with anyone local yet.
My lady have been asking to go camping so this would be the perfect chance to take her and my little boy out and meet some SoCal guys.

I'm in for whatever. A Big Bear overnighter would be cool since I already live up here. Saves' me on gas and I'm broke right now. I would be happy to be a trail guide if anyone wants to do some local wheeling. I also fish a lot up here and would be up for that as well.
 
Yea a trip sounds good. It's been almost a year since I've been out wheelin' with the 80... way too long! Would be great to meet up with you guys for a trip. I missed the last meet & greet.
 
Got my truck a couple of months ago so it is all stock right now, I won't be able to hang wheeling.
Hopefully , I will have some different tires by then.
