What are you talking about! Hit up Slee for one of his two kick ass skid plates and you are wheeling! I was on the trails for 5 years before I got a lift and I still don't have a locker!
My buddy has the new Slee skid plate and bought some used MT's and he did Pancake Rock in a stock but locked Lexus.

I'm looking at some used Nitto Trail Grappler, but the dude is camping in Tahoe.
Which skid plates are you referring to? I plan on building a set similar of these babies.
If anyone have some time and know how to build it, I will provide the tools, shop, and lunch :D

Those are sliders and I don't have them installed yet either. I found a guy on CL who built me a set for $250 now I just need to get the kickers cut at the right angles and welded to my frame brackets.
Anyway you don't need sliders yet as long as you stay away from the boulders. You just need a skid plate to protect your transmission. Go to SleeOffRoad.com and I have the small cheap skid plate and my buddy just installed his new skid plate that replaces the Tranny cross member.
