Hey ron,
The whole system is run in -6AN fittings.
The filter between the pump and the engine is a system 1 filter. they come in different fitting ends depending on what you roll with. Id go with -6AN
Heres a pic and a link to the filter. let me know if you need any questions answered. Ive done a few of these conversions both auto tranny and manuals.

My 40 took a crap on me. I was having fuel related issues on my trollhole set up. After 4 days of dealing with it..I finally worked it out....
The most frustrating 4 days Ive had in a while.

That is me. I also have a red FJ40 on propane that sees VERY occasional road use (when I have full propane and feel randy)

You should stop by sometime. I'm not much for conversation unless it involves Land Cruisers, guns, beer or smoking meats.

However, you can bring beer, smoked meats and guns up to the barn anytime. Or we can just drink Jakes beer and shoot one of his chickens for lunch.

I finished up the sliders today. However, I forgot to take some pics. I'll get some photos tomorrow when I get back at it. Just waiting on some spindles from Iron Pig Off Road before I can finish up the rear bumper and swing gates.

Been a few days, and yes.........I forgot to post pics. so here you go. These are trailgear sliders that we added expanded metal too. They come with three legs that are 11 1/2 inches and coped on one end. Just needed to cut to size and weld to the slider. They are also attatched to a 3/8 plate and welded to the frame.
Pics will explain it all, I assume.

heres a another shot too. The last pic is "uglyoinkers" project. Its a 1998 subaru GT wagon with 58K on the clock. Hes is putting the engine in his volkswagon westfalia camper van...

Engine is tip top...
No leaks and lots o compression!

I personally dont know much about the subi's, but I do know it will be an upgrade on the VW engine.
