Great to hear there is progress! I figured you forgot all about the dang truck @Mars !
How's Hips?

Are the A and B pillars still parallel for the front doors?
This. It's a s*** ton of work, but you are gonna need to put it back together before painting. Then make adjustments. I learned that the hard way after painting the body on an old impala, then trying to fit the doors and they didn't clear the "B pillar" no matter how much I moved the hinges and fenders. I was so pissed but a rookie - I had to sand down some very expensive Houser of Color paint.

Good advice. I will absolutely reassemble and test fit prior to final paint. I’m sure I’ll have plenty of alignment issues.

I put a tape on the doors. I don’t see any major flaring between the pillars. Maybe 1/8” wider at the top of the passenger door. 🤔

OK, I’m a little lost on some of these openings.

Number one i’m assuming is vacuum hose… what typically attaches here?.

Number number two looks like it might be a water temperature sensor?

Number three I’m assuming is for the vacuum transfer case 4x4 connections?

Number four looks like water, I’m not sure however. Grant me your wisdom oh Landcruiser experts.

Diagram show vacuum lines coming off of the end of the manifold underneath the sniper. Mine is plugged off. Somewhere I need to run to the brake booster as well.

1 is the pcv breather that needs filtered air from the air cleaner.
2 is a temp sensor. Could be water temp or emissions, hard to say
3 is the vacuum for the brake booster

4 is like 2. You only need one desmogged, unless the efi needs its own sensor.

Awesome. One more.

Ok that’s the PCV on the passenger side of block. Runs exhaust from blow by out of the motor in that last photo. So I need to pull vacuum from the manifold to run to brake booster and also the transfer case. I think I can pull another plug from the outside of the manifold under the sniper and run that to the booster. The other vertical one was definitely running to the transfer case.

Definitely reassemble before paint.to check everything for fitment. I had trouble with the DS door on the Gazoo and that was after paint. It was tragic.
