1. Michael Harness: Introduction of his new LC shop.

2. Club Insurance: Approval of a Proposal from Sneed Insurance, Memphis Tenn. Availability of Classic Car Declared Value insurance from same company for members.

3. Reports of recents events and upcoming events.

4. Lots of good seafood.

Talked to Brad Pilgrim of anderson the other day he is a new perspective member and I believe he is planning on coming to this one so you guys keep and eye for him........ not sure if I will be there or not; I am at the will of the fiance today :D

I met a technician at Toyota of Greer that may come tonight.

Got my $14 oil change today in Greer and the tech that worked on my 80 was very interested to hear more about the club. His name is Robert and he pointed out his BJ42 to me. (I think that's the right number, it looked like a 40) He did say it was a RH drive. I told him to try and come meet us tonight and be prepared to pop his hood.

So if you see a guy that looks like Ghin's body-double, that'll be Robert.

Great time tonight! Nice pick on the establishment. Food was muy bueno. We'll have to go back sometime.
 
Since you asked . . . I followed up this week, told them we would take it, but their underwriter, The Hartford, declined. They didn't want to write it unless we were a 501(c) corp. So . . . the next issue is whether we want to incorporate and apply for an appropriate tax status with the IRS. Then they will write the insurance. To quote Maxwell Smart, "we were this close."

Perhaps we can raise this with TLCA since we are a "chapter."
