Hey UC'ers!
:steer: :steer: :steer: :steer:
We're wheeling at this new offroad park in the Upstate in a few weeks. I'm checking on the camping situation, but if they don't have facilities we can just camp at Devil's Fork SP.

Jocassee Gorges Off Road Club
259 Sunset Community Road, Pickens, South Carolina
(864) 324-9690

They don't have a website yet, but they do have a Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/JocasseeGorgesOffRoadClub
I'm still gathering details on the park's facilities, day use fees, etc...more info as I get it will be posted.

500 acres of off road wheeling. Trails to accomodate jeeps, side by sides, and atvs. Easy to extreme trails. Massive rock climbs for the rock buggies. Something for everyone!

Now, post up if you can make it.
I don't want to see a bunch of posts after this that say..."not gonna make this one" or "maybe next time". We don't want to hear your whining. :p
Get yer butt in gear and put some dirt on those 33" tires you drag around all year.

Cost? Planning on coming out since it is in my backyard!

Man this event looks awesome I really wish I could make this one, but you see my dog got run over by a truck and my kids got the laryngitis, then next thing I know the wife has run off with the circus.....

So I guess what I am saying is MAYBE NEXT TIME :flipoff2:

So Rick are you coming, I plan on making it hopefully with both 45's....... when was the last time an LPB and LV were on a trail ride together?? That has got to be worth the price of admission :D

I believe Marshall and Chuck will be there as well, WHO ELSE??

Finally I might be able to make a wheeling trip, any idea of the cost?

I believe it is $25 per vehicle and then a lesser additional per passenger fee, but I not 100% sure to be honest

Alright that's not bad at all, I definitely hope I can mow this one!

I asked several questions on their FB page, but they only responded to the question about on-site camping - which they do not have. They said Table Rock is only 4 miles away.

I wanted to know if they charged per vehicle or if there are group rates...and what the cost is.

I thought I recalled them saying it was $20-25 or so per driver and $5 per passenger. Don't quote me on that. I looked through their FB page but couldn't find the fees.

So let's camp at Devils Fork Campground. Great campsite with full facilities. I reserved my spot for Friday and Saturday night #55 and there are spots around me. I'll bring all the club stuff to make it an easy camping trip. Those sites around me have electric and water hookups. I might bring my kids.

How much was the spot at devils fork?

Probably London broil. I've become pretty good at cooking those. Snow peas and small red potatoes with butter and parsley.

Sweet I will bring the PBR to round out the meal :hillbilly:
