Haffi,
Great progress on the snorkel.. I like the bike rack too. The square red lights on your tail gate....are they factory or did you add them??
Thanks
Stu

not to harsh your mellow but i notice you have mounted this to the fender as well as the roof. do you forsee any problems with twisting when offroad? seems something might give and i'm thinking it's the roof mount.
i should think if the body has flexed enough to cause problems with cracking a fibreglass snorkel, you'll have bigger worries on your mind than a few broken snorkel mounts.
Looking good, I like it very much. Keep the pics coming, Haffi!
Looks awesome
What's gunna keep water from getting into the intake though
Like rain water or kids pouring soda![]()
Nothing, but since water is heavier than air, it should flow down the bottom of the tube and end in the bottom of the compartment on the fender, from there it flows down the 12 mm tube and out of the snorkel.
12mm is pretty small though
What if it gets clogged with dirt?![]()
You are right about that, I can still drill a bigger hole and glue in a wider tube. Better save than sorry![]()
What happens to the water in the bottle when the temps go below freezing though

Why do you think there will be so much water in there?
I have a uncle that made his own snorkel, he has a valve to release water from it. When he opens it every few months he gets a tablespoon or two of water from it. He as a front facing opening.
