There are also these:

But the LX is super heavy and high torque. Not sure how much I like a chain drive in that situation.

What an awesome vehicle. Looks like they've fixed most of my minor quibbles with the 600:
-body/frame rumbles with bumps
-updated digital drivers dash
-lockers
-hybrid (more power!!!).

Now have to figure out if trading my 2022 base LX for $60-70,000 and paying an extra $40,000 is worth it.
It is not worth it, but..... YOLO.

Contact your preferred dealer(s) and get on their list. The customer transaction is handled 100% by the dealer, for better or worse. I'm fortunate to have an amazing local dealer (LHM Lexus of Murray) and a saleswoman that we've been working with for many years. That said, many have less than savory experiences with their dealership... :(
Maybe just buy it from LHM of Murray and make a road trip out of it? :)

Can you still get this with no AHC if you want? Overtrail looks great!
I think AHC is now standard across the lineup again. Remains to be seen if there is an AHC delete option.

Personally I'm excited for AHC this time around. Especially since it recently set an RTI score of 630.

Active Height Control (AHC) and Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS): To ensure a seamless balance between off-road drivability and on-road handling stability, the LX utilizes AHC and AVS – both now standard across the LX lineup. This system provides improved grip, traction, and control as well as a sense of strength and security.

AHC is now a air ride setup rather then hydraulic in the previous gen?

You amaze me 185. In one paragraph you explain how it all works and then in the next wonder whether it is air ride or hydraulic, really...

Thanks, but thats from the presser. Genuinely asking?
Well, I see, you copied some press info and then asked a question?

From what I know and have seen written down, the AHC aka active height control system on the LX600 is hydraulic, like the AHC system used on the LX570 and some LC200's trims overseas. Now there maybe additional features in the LX600 suspension system which use gas chambers with clever controls (e.g. AVS) to manage the same (like in gas shock absorbers), but that does not control the ride height or carries the weight on the axles.

sign me up!

AHC is hydraulic only.

So if you want to lift it for 35's and up, is this possible with the ACH or are you replacing with coilovers upfront and coils in the rear?

Generally it seems yes, you can run 35s with AHC with minimal work. Utilizing a sensor lift and/or shock extenders with a proper offset wheel should get us there. Admittedly I don't have hands-on experience with this for the 300.

Once mine arrives I'll either stick with my trusty 275/70/18 KO2 tires or a 'skinny' 34inch tire.

I’m considering this vehicle and I would only buy it if I were adding 38s and Portals. 74Weld currently make them for the TGNA-F platform and with AHC you’d be golden.

AHC and portals would be an amazing combo; albeit pricey!

Here's an LX with 200 series strut spacers:

Here's an LX with the sensor lift mod (probably the first):

I've personally had a less than good experience with LHM of Murray. Likely employee stripped my wife's car interior when left overnight for service. Left it to fix a dash bulb after an oil change. Short version is employee parked it out by the street where they could return after hours and take all the electronics. It wasn't an isolated event with our vehicle either at that dealership. Very bad experience both in the damage and how they handled it after was worse. I would not walk, but run from that dealer. Maybe you could buy it and never deal with service there and be okay? Buying the car there went pretty well. It was the after the sale service that needs a little improvement. :)
