130 max? If that's the case, I won't be able to sleep on the floor back there with my dog. I'm North of 200lbs. Dog is 30lbs.
Exactly, I’m hoping it’s flush and can support more weight that the Toyota. I’m becoming a little more skeptical since I’m not seeing any pics of the rear cargo area. The GM/owner of my Lexus dealership is 1st on the list ahead of me and he’s told me he can’t find out either. Fingers crossed 🤞

The limit limit is for the little parcel shelf. Not the entire loading area.

There is a pop up “parcel” shelf at the rear, above the flap where the storage and jack is. Like 10 inches of the total cargo length.

Someone posted a video.

Wonder if we will see increased prices from autos built overseas due to the likely tariffs being imposed by the new administration?

I doubt it and it wouldnt be till later next year or 2026. This is more focused at Chinese electric car imports.

Specifics are limited at this time, but also applies to modules and other equipment that come from China. For the hybrid, Toyota has not discussed who is supplying the battery. Some of their batteries in the lineup are CATL, while others are BYD (tariffs). majority is from prime earth which may or may not attract a tariff.

Can you confirm this? I put down a deposit on the 700H OT as well (2nd on list at my dealer), but they can't confirm this for me...if it's like the Sequoia, then it'll be a 600 instead. Our dog is the size of a small pony, and she exceeds the weight limit that the battery box will support (Sequoia) 130 pounds max. Thanks!
Just for reference, all bof station wagon/suv vehicles on TNGA-F run the same configuration.

-battery is inside the vehicle to prevent environmental exposure
-it raises the cargo floor, and interferes with space back there
-that cargo end piece has a weight restriction.

I can confirm the 3rd row in the 700h will NOT fold flat like the 600 does

The idiot in this video(it me) failed to notice it at the time, but after further review it's clear the rear will have a similar setup to the Sequoia. You can see it around the 1:20 mark.

They gotta bring the Overtrail to the 600 sooner than later. The non-fold flat rear cargo is a killer for me.

Maybe the 700h two row will be different.

If you want a rough idea, walk into your local LandCruiser dealer and you'll get a approximate preview.

Tnga F while designed for electrification, has been really rough on the interior design team in regards to program stipulation and guard rails. Sequoia, traditionally a bigger, more family friendly, onroad focused suv then the more offroad LC got hurt the most by dropping the irs in the back. The LC twins are sequoia shortcomings on a shorter wheelbase plus they cant drop solid rear since offroady is in its name.

2027 should be the year of more changes on the first gen F products, and I wonder if that holds some engineering solutions...

What is the "irs" you referred to?

Amen to this! Such a waste of opportunity by Lexus/Toyota, especially considering they are already doing it with the Prado 250.
Agree, no interest in a hybrid. Just keeping the ICE going for 200k miles plus is enough maintenance and DIY. The hybrid components, not just a new battery pack, sooner or later will become a real expensive headache.

Probably minimal increased maintenance. Items like brakes, "starter and alternator" could last much longer too.

I would also be interested in a comparison of the underbits of the 200 vs 300. Has one been done? I have seen how the GX and 24 LC are much lighter duty than the 200. Despite the fact that the LX is the purest evolution of the LC wagon at 120k+ it seems a hard sell for me.

Just food for thought.

The MSRP w/DPH of the 2016 Land Cruiser was right at $85,000 which inflated would be $111,000 today. So tack on $10k for the Lexus variant and I guess we're in the right ball park.

I do agreed that holy cow it's expensive.

Ok, agreed. Just saw the msrp released and looks like just under 116 for OT 700H. Given all the upgrades probably is appropriately priced.

The lx700h should not have an alternator in the traditional sense, but does have the starter as backup?
