Welcome! ...what, no pics????New guy here. My dads, now mine, is a 67 25571
Now THOSE are pics! I love BITD pics.My dad bought it in 77 with a blown up engine and put a 283 in it. It was my mom and dads only car for about 4 yrs. I was born in 80 so my mom drove it the entire time she was pregnant being my dad could walk to work lol. My dad said the used car lot guy told him no one wanted the thing. But my dad did because he could put 2 small motorcycles in the back with the seat folded forward and the longer wheel base was better for towing our small 14ft travel trailer. It's been on probably every dirt road on so cal and the Sierras up as far as Bridgeport. We would camp every yr for 2-3 weeks in Bishop with the bikes and trailer and go all over up there. It's been in Parhump since 2009 parked. He passed 2.5 yrs ago. I brought it home 2 weeks ago. He drained the tank before parking it. I put 5 gal in it and a battery, poured a little gas down the carb and it fired right up. Took a few pours to get fuel up to the carburetor.
