Connector looks OEM. Definitely an adaptor like Bomar stated probably for clearance.

OEM sender's are stupid simple electrically speaking. They either work or don't.

The sender is stock Toyota too. That should still be available if I had to guess. The one shown has been painted black.

I got the sensor. It has an updated male spade on it. Need to figure out the wiring. Think I'm about to go nuts running to lowes. Fucn hardware for manifolds been driving me nuts.

The spade is probably just a ground, since it is attached to the body and screws into the motor, which is grounded.

It's probably not absolutely required to function.

What years is it compatable with?

not sure. it was from autozone and i specified a 1976. mike from the chevron got it for me.

@wngrog or @MScruiser can have if need/compatible....im thinking it would be compatible with the 78 not the 68 nolen.....if it is indeed for later models....

Has a different style connector than mine.

does anyone have a link to the body electrical harness breakdown/diagram?

thanks....

no updates. motivation level -0-

also, still looking for those style motor mounts. the link rob posted is $$$ and i only need the puck/rubber mounts with the studs, not the weld-in pieces that go with it.....
