Actually won't be that bad if he just needs a cable, some new shoes, machine the drum, new output seal and stake nut, adjust good to go.

Probably all for less than $125 or so.

I'll show my ignorance here, but the output of his split case does not appear to be provisioned for a t-case e-brake. While I know some were, I was under the impression that the split case e-brake assemblies were fairly unobtainium.

Again, my ignorance, but I assumed the part of the e-brake hanging off the frame rail was from the original non-split case that was in their before the GM bits were installed.

Don't know why we are stressing. The FJ60 axle you put in there will have a parking brake built-in.
