Cool to see the absent TOYOTA in your grill, as I believe the very early cruisers would have a bezel with Land Cruiser embossed in it, and no TOYOTA in the grill.

Thanks for the pics...just keep them coming

I have the original bezel there is kinda funny story about how I got the one that came with the car back it was traded back in the early 1980s for the one in the photos I posted an add on craigslist and the guy who traded for the bezel contacted me and ask a bunch of questions and told me the hole story about the fj bezel trade came about in the shopping center so I had to find him another one to get mine back

Where's your 63 Bezel?

Hey Tom great looking rig man. Don't see many of the early ones in such great shape and so complete. You know, I recognize that rig...almost bought it several moons ago. Well, this is a great story mud fans. This rig was parked in Sacramento down the street from where I grew up. The vehicle I understand was purchased in Sacramento at the Toyota dealership on Fulton way back when. Anyways, I tried several times to purchase it but was unsuccessul. One thing I was able to do was trade my 69 FJ40 , just recently chromed bezel, for the rare sought after for 63 bezel. I ran into the origianl owner one day in a parking of Raley's and the deal was made. Several years have past with the 63 bezel--now chromed, riding on the front of my 69 FJ40--which made it out to PMC swap a few times. Well, Tom Binns and I connected on Sac Craigslist as he was searching for parts and the "63 bezel" that was no longer on his rig. The landcruiser gods have visited me several times and I have returned this beautiful-perfect condition 63 bezel to it's original vehicle. Tom plans to restore it to it's factory look. White with red letters. After all, look at the pics of Toms restore--you kiddin me....the bezel belongs on it......after all, it's just a 63 bezel....who needs one anyways....Thanks for reading---Pics45
