Hicruise55, please pm your info and I will speak to Lance on Tuesday, if your ready to go I'm sure he will build you one. Anybody else interested?

Lou

OK, I'll wait!!

I would like a price nailed down, as well as confidence in it being baffled/built the same as yours. From what I understand Lance is a real stand up guy, but have not had the chance to deal with him personally- I would appreciate you acting as a liaison, even if you just put us in touch- Aaron

patch panels floor pans

:bang:just got off the phone with Lance at IPOR and zero interest for fabbing long range tanks............as part of a build on a customers pig? as part of a restoration project?!... then it would make a difference but setting up for fabbing several!!??; no interest:frown:
On a happier note Lance did mention that he would be very willing to set up for making floor pan patch panels with beads rolled into them.............not entire floor pans BUT just the areas where the beads are; my thoughts are just take the patches he can make for us and the flat plate can be managed .........please share your thoughts on this one:steer:

nope i'm not out,,, the first round with the shop i was going to do it originally is up to about $900 now, for pretty much the same as the tank lance built.

i am looking around at different shops to see what they can do, i have an extra stock gas tank now so its a easy thing for them to see what i want.

Howdy! I don't know if you missed this one on Copper State a while back, or maybe it's too far to make it worth it. Check it out. <https://forum.ih8mud.com/az-copper-state-cruisers/238566-needed-40-series-gas-tank.html> Maybe this guy can do. Maybe one of our Tuscon brothers can do a initial check with him. John

So this leaves Rhino's sources, or is that out as well?

I'm still in but there is no point in me checking prices until US sources are gone. Here the manufacturing would be cheap but the shipping would be steep. Keep me informed if the sources up north dry up.

I hope to put the long range tank in in the next week or two. This is the time to copy it, afterwards I'm not pulling it back out.

heck, I need one.............Charles or Rhino; what does it take to get one started?

Lou

Like I said, Rhino will be cheaper on shipping, I'll be cheaper on manufacturing costs. I'd hate to proceed and have a half dozen tanks here that no one wants because it costs too much to get to the US.

I'll ask a few questions and see if I can get a few rough numbers.
