LOKKA Part Time on a 2006 LX470 - Transfercase spool installation

The tcase could be done in 3 hours while in the 100 having done a couple.

My AVM hubs had problems so I ended up with more than 3 hours just in the hubs

I know this is an old thread but since I'm interested on making my 2000 LX part time.. do I just need a spool for this and not needing the front selectable hubs?
Is the CDL switch will act as the 2wd/4wd switch.. tried to reqd on here but didn't seem to find what I'm looking for.. TIA

I'm fairly certain you can install the spool and it'll do what you are asking. However, the front ring/pinion and CV shafts will spin all the time while driving. Not a horrible thing... but there are pros to disengaging your hubs if your aren't using 4wd for extended periods of time.
