...... But, I think it's really not a good idea to give away radios that require a license to random people. I'm pretty involved in the hobby and there are real problems since those cheap chinese radios started getting popular. I'd be glad to explain more in another thread......

Just so everyone is aware, it's legal to own a HAM radio and listen in without a license. Buying a HAM radio without a license is not a bad thing at all. If anything, it's good to get one before your license because you can start getting comfortable with how the radio works (outside of the transmit function) and use it as a mechanism to study for your test.

There's no cutoff for registration, however if you register past August 20th we can't guarantee you a t-shirt. We will be ordering more extras than last year, but still, no guarantees.

Hope your shoulder heals quick, but I want you to come to Logan's Run too!
