$1.15/L at the Flying J Shell station on 72nd Ave SE Calgary. That's $0.02/L more than Regular gas but still cheaper than the Premium I put in my Audi

I'm really glad to have 3 70 litre barrels so that I can stock up and tank in Hawkesbury whenever I go work in the area. 210 litres plus another 70 litres in the tank, that's an average 20+ bucks saved whenever I have a chance to tank up there.
If there is any interest, I'll post pictures of my installation. Essentially, I pump my fuel from my barrels using a portable tire air compressor with a tire valve fitted on top of the barrel and a garden hose and pick-up tube installed in the barrel cap. Easy as pie (after getting sprayed with fuel a couple of times
).

That's more like it though...gas being more expensive than diesel. Just burns me when I see diesel prices here higher than premium gas!!
In the UK it has now reached £1.48 per litre, or $2.36 in dollars. and 75% of that is tax. Thats the bit I hate.
yep, the government was put in place to look out for the people but over the centuries they have become untouchable.
now we are just a expendable two legged money making machine.

and yet decade after decade after decade we sit in our bars, our homes, our places of work and bitch and do nothing
and they keep adding more fees, permits, taxes to our lives.

$4.15 a gallon for diesel as of yesterday in Southern Georgia. Between 4 drivers in the family the monthly gas bill is starting to get painful. Several politicians has proposed higher federal fuel taxes to encourage us to "conserve."
I agree that it would be a false economy, especially when it comes to buying, licensing, insurance and maintaining another vehicle. Even if your cruiser is parked, it still needs storage insurance and that isn't cheap in BC.
My local place (Campbell River Gas & Diesel etc. .. ) has been around 1.39-1.42 for a while now. If you're in the South Surrey area they always have better prices than other places, I think because they move bulk diesel for the big trucks.
Buying a second ( and more efficient automobile ) is the same crapshoot as a wildcatter digging a new oil well. If oil stays in the $102.00 to $105.00 a barrel range than you end up looking fairly smart however if it drops back down in the $80.00 range ( which it has on numerous occasions) than your decision is a little more "iffy"
Perhaps not the best example but you get the idea.
