Beat this price if you can!

Diesel 2.25USD a liter or 8.55USD for 1 US Gallon.
Petrol 2.42USD a liter or 9.18USD for 1 US Gallon.

Good luck :D

Cheap compared to Canuckastan, especially compared to our Lotus Land.

I paid 128.9/L here in Abbotsford at Esso on Sunday.

In most places in Vancouver it is 141.9/L and ranges from $138.9L to $147.9/L.

You must be joking ...
If your fuel prices are that high, your salary must be super high ...

Sure you doesn't mean 141.9 cent per liter ?
Here I pay 225 cent per liter ...

Yep, brain fart. :o I saw a "1" as the first number instead of a "2". Fuel stations list prices like this 129.9 rather than 1.299. I guess they assume that the consumers think the 129.9 looks better.

Still for a North American urban area Canada or the US), we pay way more than most.

Well I would love to have your prices, as one of the biggest oil nations in the world we pay alot for our own produced, not imported fuel

Holy cow! I thought the $1.19 I paid the other day was bad...same as Premium gasoline right now .

Cheers,
Mike

Nov 5 - Shell Chilliwack 1.329
Nov 5 - Esso Penticton 1.369
Nov 6 - Superstore Pitt Meadows 1.379

I put in 40, 80 and 40 respectively. $160 to go to Okanagan and back and leave it with a half tank for the wife to drive around this week.

Damn taxes!!!

Damn government, tax is just one form of their punishment of the people by the greed of the powers that be.

Welcome to the world of service station greed and carbon tax. The GVRD is worse. They got Translink bending them over. Nothing like a corporation owned by the regional district mayors, directly accountable to no tax payer and with direct access to your wallet. I haven't bought fuel in the GVRD since the provincial government put the tax back on biodiesel.

Yep Translink is going to insert (pun intended) new property taxes as well as gas taxes I hear, to pay for the new "improvements". How did we allow ourselves to get into this situation where unaccountable, unelected and self-interested bureaucrats get to tax us. :bang::bang:

Of course, dont forget the "special" diesel tax that we all have to pay now, for driving more fuel efficient trucks than the V8s they seem to prefer us to get.:mad:

If everybody stopped driving and took the bus, government would be royally fxxxed to pay for public transit - not to mention all the transportation related taxes which go into general revenue!

This morning, Esso in Abby was selling diesel at 131.9; that's up 2 more cents a liter in two days.

Its been 141.9 in Langley for the last two weeks.

Glad I take all my fuel needs to the US now, get cheap milk, cheese and other dairy wile I'm there. Some times I even get to pick up Cruiser parts that I got for 60% less. :bang:

$1.24 for diesel
$1.22 for gas
in backwater Ontario

don't get me going on fraudulant tax schemes by the Ontario ruler McGreedy ... I would love to see Toronto become it's own province.

Guys, its 1.339 in Mission Shell now. That's my usual 'cheap place' to get fuel. So...even they've gotten hit by the high-price bug. John G, your abby location still looks like the cheapest around!!

Wheelingnoob, I try to take my fuelling needs down south as well, but we only make it there maybe once a month for groceries and shopping. Might have to do it more often at this rate. Geez, I wish I lived in Abby...so close!!

i wouldn't be surprised if they started recording fuel levels when crossing over and charging tax on those purchases as well...

anyone ever wondered where all the tax money goes? it doesn't go back into the economy...

bike lanes i like, i would love to see more of them here.
pension funds ... they can work like the rest of us self employed individuals ... till we die.
