Since I work in Both , plus , Taxes are paid in the country earned.

"PAY YOUR TAXES CANUCKS"
dude, with all respect, it isn't the taxed income that is the issue. Our government is crooked and run by a bunch of greedy SOBs. if they taxed us at 100% with no allowed tax deductions this country would STILL be broke and they would be looking for more.
they need to cut taxes back to allow people to have more money to spend, more money to spend then the more money in circulation, more money in circulation the more tax the government will get.
we need to stop helping other countries till we have our own under control and happy. we NEED proper health care in Canada. we NEED infractructure. we NEED PROPER education. we NEED proper food.

our government NEEDS to look at what the people of Canada NEED and keep the money we pay in tax IN CANADA. we do not need to help out africa, afganistan, japan or any other country that is fawked up. we don't need to save the world TILL AFTER Canada is taken care of with the money in tax.

we do not need to lend countries that are nearly in colaspe our hard earned money, let countries like the US do that if they feel the desire.

my family pays taxes to so OUR lives improved. we want retirement funds to be thier when we retire. we want health care paid by our taxes when we get sick. we want a reduction in heating fuel when it gets cold. we want healthy food that is affordable to us.

and we want a say in where our tax money is spent.

and you say "PAY YOUR TAXES", and i say "pull your head out of the sand and take a look around you"

And the price of fuel is ...
Superstore 123.9 diesel
120.4 gas

The rant of course is tax freeeeeeeeeee! :D

$4.18 costa mesa, california

only getting 17 mpg - sad face

Great news, Wayne! It's still over 1.249 here... Some analysts are predicting a drop in price for the coming month. I'm holding on my next 300 litre purchase for now (getting to the end of my last Hawkesbury, ON, purchase at 1.218) :)

My last 300 liters were purchased at 25 percent off at the Superstore. You had to have a 100 dollar receipt and use their credit card to get 25 cents off per litre up to 100 litres.

TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT OFF? How can this be possible, unless oil companies are REALLY screwing consumers?! I'm lucky to get 3 or 4% at the rare places where they will accept that, and only if I pay cash!

It's a grocery store promo, 10 percent off for 100 bucks spent, 10 percent more off if using their credit card and the 4 cents a litre coupon for the store.

$3.69 in Missoula MT
$4.05 in Deary ID

I noticed the same thing... My last purchase at 119.9 was NOT a bargain, considering I had to drive an extra 40km to get 160 litres (long story - The Mercier bridge closed just as I was going to use it, giving me this nice one hour detour)... Should have done it a couple of weeks ago :(

Does anyone know where to find long term price trends for diesel? gasbuddy only has the data for gasoline. If I knew where to purchase it at a really good price, I would buy it in bulk for 6 months at a time (1000 litres) and get myself a big reservoir (already have a handle on the equipment I would need).

If you are buying in bulk, then check around at some of the card-locks. Flying J use to be a decent deal. I just checked their price here in Abby and it is 119.9/L; so, it is actually more expensive than Superstore when you also account for the store credit. That is probably why I often have to wait for a trucker to fill his 800L tanks. They only have 2 diesel pumps. :bang:

Check your Superstore flyer, John, as they have the 'buy $100 in groceries and save 10 cents a litre on up to 100L of fuel'. Which is 20 cents a litre if you use their credit card. Good till July 22 I think.

When I was up in Kamloops on monday Gas was 1.10/L and Diesel Was 1.25/L.... FML

Just filled mine up and now I read this. I am going to have to coordinate this with Lety, so we can get the 100L.
