I really enjoyed meeting folks from all over and fellow dieselers. I had a great time wheeling too.

Back from CM. Awsome event. Chevy waterpump replaced under warrantee. Defective part and nothing to do with my heavy foot. Really disappointed in putting my fan through the radiator 5 mins into Golden Spike run and could run the trail. 1st jackass move of event for me. New radiator fixed that problem (plus throwing the shroud away) and ran Behind the Rocks on Friday. Will post some video. Then ran Hells Revenge on Saturday and did jackass move no 2. See below. This is what happens when you back up to get the locker to engage before escalator and you do not watch where you are going.

Nice to see all the new and old faces again.

Rob,

We met Mark, Jonah and Able, those guys are hilarious!!!

We couldn't miss ribbing them about being from Canuckistan - or about how long it took those hosers to put together some beadlocks!

I gave him three keys and two locking lugnut keys! Guess I should have installed an alarm so he would have a button like he was used to. ;p

Wish I was out there too! Damn slow butt carrier pidgeon still hasn't dropped parts from down under off....RRRRRR I would have come out to drink whats left of your beer if the 80 would be up out of the weeds yet! Still a lowrider... :crybaby:

Thanks for the update!

Hey Kipper...look in the mirror.. :princess: :D

I think TreeRoot will have to hand over his slug line "Where are my keys?" to Kipper now...

Clank clank clank - I could not here my music blasting at midnight :crybaby:

Just liked hearing them say something like "gotta go get it in the 10-ton eh"

I had a great time. The old 80 did quite well. In two weeks she'll be on Ebay. She carried me through Pritchett (I did bypass the rockpile which should be renamed as there were no rocks on it), Golden Spike (saw Shott's wheel his 100, he did very well and his wife was there telling him to go for it which was cool), and Hell's Revenge (I think this is my favorite trail). I finally got up Hell's Gate with just one locker. It was pretty unnerving having Gary lay his 40 on his side before me and then watching Freddy lay Alvaro's 80 down with a blown tire right afterwards. Dan George was great for spotting me on that obstacle. He said he wasn't going to do it because he said I couldn't do without rolling with only one locker. I'm glad he was wrong. I wish we could have done the night run Friday and in hindsight I should have. The wind and possible rain was freaking me out. Sat. morning the rain pouring on on Moab Rim was worse. One thing I regret is I didn't get to meet everyone. I was fairly tired after the long drive and we had some late nights on the trail. Doing school work in camp sucks! So I did get out to do my socializing like I would have like to do. Other than locking up the camper trailer brakes 30 miles from home I had no breakage. So that was good. I can't wait to go again. Unfortunately, I think I have to skip next year. Maybe 2007?

doug that was like porno music while you made love to potato salad.
