Someone called it Nina's Tub or similar? It was at after Hell's Gate, on Friday.

Mickey's Hot Tub I think is what a lot of people call it...but I never knew which one up there they are referring to, so who knows.

The original one is the last one that you pass on the trail(real small and steep).

the one he rolled in is known as "the car wash" (which has become more popular for rolls because no one squares up to it), the next one (where gunmetalcruz broke his leaf spring & I broke my rear o/p shaft of t-case) is known by many names........ M.F.! , S.O.B.! (it varies :D ), and the last one is known as "mickey's hot tub" which is fairly easy if you have enough wheelbase.

Ain't that the truth - and I work for myself :crybaby: We think 2-3 weeks next year, too much to explore in that area - We have been in Moab 5 times now still have not had our fill

I agree. This was my 4th year for CM, loved it. But every time I go I find new areas I need to explore. In October, we whent out to the San Rafael Swell for a few days. Some of the most amazing country. Then in January went to Capital Reef National Park. The week befor had 10" of snow. 18 deg at night and 40 in the day time high. Loved every minute of it. On the way out stopped by Goblin Valley st., Park. Very cool area. Seems like the list for places to go keeos extending every time I go out there..........

Perry -We have been to all those places you mentioned. The snow looks magical in the photo
The San Rafeal Swell "is" the most amazing place ;) Been back in those dirt roads and canyons north of I-70 many many ancient things out there.
Down near Gobblin SP are some cool slot canyons.
Hiking down to the Escalante River near Egypt of Hole in the rock road - Priceless memories - OK- We need another moab trip this year ...

Have you spent time on Powell yet? That will set the hook so deep you will never spit it up.....:D

Not yet... but we have been threatning for years now. A few of Kristina's co-workers just bought a timeshare on one of the house boats there. Now that there is water in there, I guess we need to set that hook :)

You get yer photo DVD I sent yet?

I did indeed, thank you very much. How come one of your CD's wasn't in there as well? ;)

We have houseboated on powell for 13 years now and it really is my favorite week of the year. We have also beach-camped for a week at a time. I average close to 20 hours on my boat every year. We ski, tour, swim, lounge, eat really well, all in what has to be one of the most spectacular settings in North America.

That is a good question and one I can fix real quick ;)

I can remember hiking in Escalante in the dead heat -then heading down to Powell for some beach swimming - man that was refreshing

Yes it very mutch was! I have been to Capital Reef once befor a long time ago but was in the spring. This was the first time i've gone to the desert with snow. Made the trip nice since we had the whole park to our selfs, even though they closed the north/south ends do to impassible roads. We asked how impassible and didnt get mutch of an answer. We will be heading back to the Swell in October with the club, a most enjoyable trip.
