KEEP IT UP WOODY!

Hey, any more details on the 80 and 100 breakage?

What trail and what were they doing that caused it?

Greg Miller junked a CV and Robbie did in a steering box....don't know the trail offhand, but 'suspect' both were previously weakened ;)

Red Fox had a rough day with u-joints and birfields, Larry did in a FJC rear diff yesterday, and Kula backflipped his Twisted rig off the Helldorado waterfall....

and yet, it took a minitruck rollover on Elephant to win the 'carnage' award :)

Now for some pics....

rode shotgun with Gary in his S-W-E-E-T FJ45/FZJ80/whatever rig....great time and great people, and lots of great photos....

Robbie was leading Golden Spike. I was supposed to be on that run, but we got in so late Wed that I didn't get tech inspected until Thu morn and with the morning logistics of four kids plus tech inspection we missed Spike's early meeting time by almost 40 minutes.

We hauled up PSM to catch the group figuring we had the PSM run behind us, got within eyesight (but apparently not CB range) near the junction of PSM and GS, but then it started snowing and we got turned around and ended up on the PSM loop, and then running backwards on Spike, and ultimately bailed the attempt and ran with the PSM group, which was extremely enjoyable.

I was surprised when I heard an 80 series steering box had broken on the Spike run - I hope everybody got off of Spike safely yesterday as word was they were trying to get a box in from Grand Junction and that was at about 4:00 pm.

Robbie got a steering box, changed it in 45 minutes, and I 'believe' they were off the trail about 1am....

It was nice to meet you Nay...look forward to wheeling with you guys someday soon. We're in between Kansas City and St. Louis right now on our way home.

I was tailgunning that run, so I don't have a lot of pictures.
Some more when there's more time to resize. White Rim tomorrow.

But the inclement weather produced some interesting light...
