Toyota called them winkers in the owner's manual and I think parts manual for the FJ25. There was a knob in the center of the dash to operate them. Seen one on one of the FJ28s that just sold lately on ebay. Don't think any were ever imported to the US.

In my 1958 Toyota Land Cruiser Genuine Parts manual LH Winker assembly is PN FJ24 58220 for FJ25's only not FJ25L RH Winker is PN FJ24 58210

My 25 has got the holes for the wires , the swich is still in the middle of the dash. Haven't found a set yet.
