We asked for and were granted permission to cross Laguna pueblo land. So we did come in on 6 west of the old entrance but I think coming in from Indian route 54 would be just as good. By the time you drive across their land find the open gate into the ranch and then find your way south you could come in from Cimmy Mesa. Either way it is one remote place to go.

A 4:1 transfer case even makes going down hill more fun

The video is about 5 minutes long and a little grainy.

looks good! sounds like you stopped a little bit past that at the big wall drop. it's a fun trail for sure. I got to go to the end on the trip with sceep and David (forgot his last name).

wait, you said the 20' waterfall. isn't that the end of the trail? or is it at the big hill that goes around, out of the wash?

4/10 of a mile from the end of the trail at what would be the big hill out of the wash. We did not attempt anything past that for fear of getting caught after dark on a day that was only in high 30's as it was.

I was turning around and felt it start to go.................I knew I needed to power out of it but I just couldn't let off the brakes and get on the throttle

Here is a decent view of the Orion

It was bound to happen, pushing the envelope baby!!! NICE. :D

Sorry to hear it. How does the sheet metal look on the driver's side?

At least it was only a flop, instead of a full-bore rollover.

Any problems getting it back on four wheels?

And now you can answer the unanswered: does a Merc diesel keep running when sideways and start up again once righted. These are vital questions in cruiser-apps.

Front fender needs a bandaid, the door and lower body are bowed in somewhat and the drip rail around the top will need to be repaired. Overall it went over really slow and smooth.

I killed it as soon as it stopped moving and it was only on its side for about 15 minutes, but it fired right up and I backed up to the top of the hill. It didn't even smoke and the only fluid to leak out of it was from the breather or the shifter on top of the transmission.

I just about have my ARB and 60 series axle ready to go in the rear

Hmm, that happened fast!

Looks good!

I started my jungle gym last week

I had bought the A pillars and a B pillar from a guy here on mud last year.

This is what I have now

I don't like the B pillar forward brace but other wise...............

Any suggestions?

Holy Guacamole, that is an intense cage. You planning on slapping in a V8 and racing the dunes in that thing?

Shhh, don't tell my wife but a V8 can't be to far out.

I cut the X brace back out and did one crossbar with triangulation. I felt the X put it over the top and took the practicality out of it. I am going to go back to my original plan to cross brace the roof section and just triangulate the uprights. More pictures to follow.
