Well I made it home.
I have to say THANKS again to Eric! He and his family are really great people! There was a little confusion on my part and Eric handled it great!
It was really cool to go up there and see my old truck! It had a really cozy spot in Eric's garage along with some of Eric's other cool toys. It started right up, and we took it for a quick spin around the neighborhood.
So 40 hours after I left VA, I had driven up to IL, actually got a chance to talk to Eric and now the old Pig was sitting back outside my place.... pretty surreal. I dropped the 55 off the trailer and parked it on the side of the street, so I could take everything inside. I left the 55 on the street and took the dog for a walk. I came back 20 minutes later to 2 cop cars, a parking enforcement officer, and a tow truck. As I was walking up I notice they are crawling on the ground and shining flash lights in the window. Evidently since they couldn't find a VIN, (stamped on the frame) and it didn't have a VA safety inspection they were going to impound it. I obviously told them it was going in the garage but they wanted to watch me put it away, before they called off the the tow truck. I guess they doubted that it ran! So I fired it right up and blipped the throttle a couple times, LOVE the noise! haha. Not to mention the look on their faces. LOL.
Anyways, It is home in the garage and safe, well at least for 2-3 weeks before it ships to Denver!
I only have one pic and it isn't very good, I will be working on it a bit as soon as I get to Denver.

Where are you in Denver? I am looking to rent at Breakers Resort, for a while, while I look for a place. If you know anything about Breakers Resort or the area, send me a PM.

I could have, but I wanted to drive up and meet Eric. It would have been much smarter to just have it shipped! That was a killer drive, but it was all worth it. Not to mention I love a good road trip.
I tell you what, if Eric and I keep swapping this thing back and forth, we are going to have to live closer together! ha!

never heard of breakers resort, but there are apartments in a little gated community that are called the breakers. they're on mississippi. i live in commerce city, so i'm just the other side of i70 from downtown.
I think you should move a bit further north and come to Longmont. 40 min North of Denver. about half way between Ige (nuclearlemon) and TJ (pablocruise) and in the same town and me and my piggie. lol

I am looking forward to doing some Pig runs with you guys! Have any of you done, Imogene, Engineer, or Huricane pass? There are some amazing looking rides out there! I can't wait to get out and explore! Anyone ride an enduro?

This pig is what i am modeling mine after. I've got a 4bt t400 into np 203,205 doubler. I would love to run into you on the trail someday. What's the story on this rig? I no it was built and sold then gone off the scene for a while. Did you get it, are you the builder? Do you have a facebook acct i've got build pic of mine there.
