Has anyone had any problems with leaking clutch fluid? My FJ40 has been sitting in the garage for a while. I was going to start it up and go for a drive but the clutch pedal went to the floor. The fluid is low in the reservoir and there is a puddle on the floor.

As @Tancruiser said, replace both at the same time.

The slave cylinder is on the passenger side of the transmission follow the line from the clutch master, you will probably see the boot all wet. Currently have this issue on our 4runner.

You can grab an Aisin unit off rock auto for cheap. while your at it you may want to switch out the master and the flexline from the firewall to slave.

X2 on changing the master along with the slave

Yep, that's exactly where the puddle is on the floor. Thanks for the info.
