I’d suggest just climbing under the truck at a rest stop and checking that all the bolts are tight. Maybe a cam bolt wasn’t tight enough and the pop was the LCA position “jumping” to the end of the range. Would also explain the steering angle

This will be interesting without PCS. :p

I think you should be fine to reach back to MD. The steering is not straight, just compensate it. Alignment is not perfect, just improper tire wear.
 
Seems odd that the PCS would be the root cause of the steering wheel offset, I'd think it is more of a lagging symptom. I'd expect some sort of mechanical issue in the suspension alignment resulting in an issue in the tie rods, lca/uca mounting, etc to knock that steering wheel off so far, then the PCS to error out *because* of the steering angle. Can you do a steering angle calibration (I think this requires Techstream, and if you're like me, you forgot the cable)? I can't imagine what caused the pop...

Any chance the 'pop' was a VGRS component failure and the subsequent solenoid locking?
