Got mine, can't wait to get it installed but sadly will have to wait until I return to my other home after Holidays. Wonder how many other LC100s are running Aisin hubs in the Midde East?View attachment 3189257
Not too many.

What's the min wheel bore size needed to clear the hubs?
I just received my kit and hope to install it ASAP. The 80/100 series part time kit installation video from 4WD Shed and the FSM will be my primary guides, but they leave me with a couple questions. What is this plastic spacer that comes with the kit? It looks like it installs on the back of the spool? Why did my kit come with a tube of FIPG sealant and a tube of Permatex gasket sealant? Has anyone done a write up for this particular kit?
Got the instructions! Thanks for the help! The spool should have a set of instructions that cover the plastic spacer and sealant. Is it not in your box? If not, shoot an email to Cruiser Outfitters and they'll quickly email you a set.

Yep. Friend of mine showed me a pic of Aisin hubs from Toyota brochure on same wheels so I gave it a shot.I never even thought to cut the center out of the stock hub cover.
That's what that is, correct?
thanks
There has to be a stock part number for that, you'd think.
Had a question - I was looking at a cruiser that had this installed but was just curious:
If I wanted to return the T case to its stock configuration and the PO did not keep the parts, what parts are required and are they available to purchase from Toyota or is it all part of the assembly?
Is it just this block of parts?

At this price point I would definitely prioritize putting this kit on my 100 series. It’s lifted, locked, re-geared, etc. less wear on front axles when not Offroad would be welcome. For my Wife’s relatively stock LX470 she loves the point and shoot aspect of Awd all the time...Correct. With the custom gear one would install the hub/spool in the T-case and bolt on the hubs at the front. Hoping to offer the complete kit in the $650 range. That's a t-case spool, two AISIN hubs with the chromoly inner gear and gaskets, axle clips, etc.
The spool install is pretty straight forward. How much more involved to install the 10% underdrive gears a the same time? Still a DIY job or any special tools needed or recommended parts while the T-case is open? Might as well kill 2 birds.
That is beautiful. What’s the ballpark on a new setup like that with all the goodies and the full part time kit (hubs)?
