Great meeting, wish that we can organize such kind of events in Turkey; the only problem is there are 3 dozen of 40 series cruiser in total, more than half are about to disintegrated or one step behind from being parted out.
Plz pm me about your events; i will try to join you...
By the way do you have a reliable part source in Europe? Dealer don t have much knowledge about vintage cruisers and most of the parts are out of the stock; if you can send me some reliable part sources, i will appreciate that.My main part sources are ebay and classified section but shipping is about to open an endless hole in my wallet so i have to find a way to reach parts from a closer destination.

I am working on a roof rack just like this...modeled after the FJ rack. Mine will hug the roof a little more and have less of an angle where the front supports meet the main rack, but it is good to see it on a 40 series for reference.
Looks like a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing!
