I'm sorry we won't have Dan's semi-submersible Cado. I was hoping to plumb the depths of the bog at Wet Camp.

man that would have been the perfect mission for the Cado........ I bet that thing in pushing 3ft deep up there!!!

Wish I could jump into this one. I'd be there. Believe me!!!! I'm just not quite built for that one YET, but I'm down for ridin shotty and taggin' a long.

3 feet? That isn't even touching front bumper :)
I think the 3ft is the first soft bottom. Could be six before you hit traction. Does Cado float? I'd calculate the displacement. I was thinking tie the tow strap on before the plunge.

You're welcome to ride shotty but I think the GC could probably handle all or most of it, winches and/or the yanker could handle the rest. The BFGs are probably your biggest hindrance on this terrain-steep rutty mud.

I am pretty careful these days, given my sinking of the Cado on several occasions :)

Just eat them After wheeling, not before. Turkey puts you to sleep. You may be wanting eyes wide open for this one.
BTW, Ratdog next week at Ovens in CLT.

OK troopers, Thankgiving is next week.
Anybody that wants in for this deal post up with when you can be there. I can cover anything from Thursday through Sunday. Hopefully we can agree on a common day or two but whatever.

Looks like it will be cold as hell for you fellas:cheers:

So the time to meet is 11am on friday...I'm gonna be coming back from TN on Friday, maybe I can drive up there and meet up with you guys on the way home! Let's just see what the parents say about funding this excursion (broke college kid now).

Logan if you can get there I'll feed you and fill your gas tank for the ride home.
My contribution to the future of mechanical engineering.

So . . . I'll be at the Moonshine Mini Mart at 11AM this Friday.
Alex, I hope you can make it.
Rick/Cat, Jason, Andy: Hope it works out for you too.
JP, sorry about that, you'll be missed. Can you send your big paper map?
Anybody else is welcome as well. I can stay until Sunday if someone wants to come later than Friday.

We're definitely working on Friday. I'd only be able to make it up Saturday AM and stay one night, if that works into the plan. Cat would not likely want to camp in this weather, she's under the weather this week.

I've also got a map I'll email you Bill. I spliced the 4-pager into a one page file. Printing on 11x17 is optimal, but you can get by with a 8.5x11 printout.

check you PM Bill--I don't have your email addy.
