The tube nuts and sleeves fit on the original fuel hard lines from the tank.

I got a 5/16” tube sleeve and nut for the 8mm tube. And that adapted it to 6AN.

1/4” tube nut and sleeve for the smaller tube, which the od measured to 6.36mm. Basically 1/4”. That adapted it to 4AN.

The vapor tube I just left as is with a flared tube and hose clamp.

The PTFE hose is rated for 1,500 psi and 400 degrees F.

Breather hose connected to the fill plug with a swivel fitting. Hose goes up to a breather in the engine bay. That is the last of the plumbing for the BB. Still looking for a temp gauge and where to put it, but I have the T fitting for the sender plumbed in.

While doing the new fuel hoses I noticed rats were snacking on my radiator and heater hoses🙄.

Ordered some new hoses and tubes. For the upper radiator hose I got a 105 degree tube, and a 90 and 45 degree silicone hose. Got it mocked up. I’m going to try the heat shrink hose clamps for the silicone hose to tube joint then just worm drive clamps for the rad and engine. Replaced the thermostat while I was right there.

I got a 90 degree tube for the lower radiator hose, and a 1.75 to 1.5 silicone reducer hose.

And while I’m at the hoses… wasn’t too happy with the hoses going the rear heater. I pulled the og tubes for the engine swap. Lost them in the fire. Replaced the tubes with hose from the engine to rear heater. Priced out some new tubes and at 350 bucks to just cut and modify was too rich for my blood. So instead I bought 10’ of 1/2” aluminum tube for $17 bucks, and a bead rolling tool for $311🤣. Pretty nice tool and I’ll absolutely use it more than just this once. It’s a Parker 416 bead rolling tool. It does 1/4” to 1” tube. Unfortunately the 1/4” size is broke. Made some tubes that turned out pretty good. Og tubes measure 14mm od. My tubes measured 12.5 mm. Added heat shrink at the clamps and it brought the od to 14mm. Used the springy type bender. 1/2” silicone hoses.

3rd installed. Settled on .005-.009”. If I was rich I’d throw the arb and the gears in the trash can and start over fresh. Probably with the harrop e locker and any other gear supplier than Yukon. It’s a shame , they were my trusty go to. .002” runout outta the box is not acceptable but, gonna run it because it’s what I have…

Up next.

Rear axle install.

Front axle gears, locker, rcv’s, big brake kit. Shock tower/hoops of sorts. Looking at options and suggestions please! is the 60 series wheeler forum dead!? Are we now more interested in wiper blades and lights!?!!!!!

I have a few washer reservoir takeouts. PM me if you need one. Just pay shipping or swing by and grab one if you’re up here.
Dang! I already ordered one and it was just delivered yesterday. Thank you very much though! I would love to swing by sometime though and check out your shop if you’d be ok with that?

I had just a little bit of time and that’s all I needed to get the @CruiserTrash fire extinguisher mount installed. Put some edge trim on it for a little protection. Very nice piece, fit perfect, and will be very handy.

Great idea with the edge trim, I constantly find uses for that stuff.

Unfortunately my modified seat brackets made it so I couldn’t use Jim’s FEH. Bummer as his products are so good.

It just had too much branding for you Ian

The 62FLRK fit perfectly, did not have to change the length of the charge cable or anything. Very nice kit, very happy and relieved that I got it installed. I’ve been running without fusible links for almost 4 years now. Nice to have some protection again. This kit just made it easy.

I should really clean and paint my air filter housing, that looks like crap.
