With my upcoming 4hr commute to AOAA, I'm planning to sack out in a hotel Friday night. It appears the most accessible will be in the Selinsgrove/Shamokin Dam areas (Comfort Inn/Econo Lodge). Both are 1/2hr plus to the park. Should I worry about parking overnight at either place? Any other recommendations? If it wasn't summer I'd just sleep in the back of the Tundra.
You shouldn’t have anything to worry about at either of those locations if you decide to get a hotel.

I'm in for this run! Never wheeled Anthracite so definitely looking forward to getting out and using the truck again. It's been too long since it's seen 4lo. Also, might have 2 other new members joining us as well!

I think I am going to make it out to this one. Been over a year since I've been out on a trail.

Mark and I grabbed rooms at Country Inn and Suites in Frackville, PA. Around 20-30 minutes from AOAA.

I like @Crusha's idea of making this an overnight and checking out the campground at Anthracite. Realistically I can be there around 8 after work on Friday night.

Do we have a head count?

Also I'm bringing my brother in law and his rover.

Do we have a head count?

The following are confirmed:

@Crusha
@VBRoamer
@stock
@hman913
@jamarquardt22
+ his BIL in a Rover
@jonheld
@woytovich
@Pacer
@YotaFun
@BruceFZJ80
@dci blair
@scottymarks + two, with trucks???

The not entirely committed/possibly/probably list:

@maxse01
@Bobby Williams
@JeepinPete
@BROKEROB1
@TunaKing

The number of confirmed trucks is THIRTEEN, or more, depending on Scott's guests being passengers, or not.

Please confirm who above is a definite at this point.

This could end up having to be split into two groups...

What time are you folks planning on meeting at AOAA Saturday morning?

In the lot by 8:30, (although, with a group this size, 8:15 would be better) and on the trail by nine.

Anyone who does not have a season pass, go here to fill out the online waiver. Saves a lot of time.

The number of confirmed trucks is eleven, or more, depending on whether Scott and Jon's guests are passengers.

Please confirm who above is a definite at this point.

Mark is bringing his 60 and possibly a guest in some sort of vehicle to be named later.
@woytovich should respond...

I will be there. Replacing a front caliper with a frozen piston today, glad it went down this Friday rather than next Friday.

I'm out :( Work is too crazy this month and still waiting for the last piece for the lift.

@Rob Gilfillan is back from vacation this week and will confirm shortly (with his 40) and my brother should be submitting his registration and payment by tomorrow. (just waiting on the TLCA#) He'd be bringing his stock 100series.

I'll make sure these are completed ahead of time as well.

Weather forecast looks awfully good for camping.

I'd possibly be interested in camping Friday night - Does AOAA allow onsite camping?
