Don't know but it should be an adventure.

F***en A.. Wife just called and she might be late coming home tomorrow, suppose to come home late tonight.... SMH, guess what cars he chose to drive today.. I'll text you in the morning waiting for her outside with a hot chocolate in my hands..

From now on no one is allowed to touch him the day before off-roading... Or I could... Nah can't take the runner, it's too new,

Stan texted me and said it's really icy

I knew it would be, the back roads around here are bad and up back where I park some vehicles and it doesn't get plowed regularly it is nasty.

Sorry to miss it.

Well, not too sorry. It's a spectacular day here on the Oregon coast!

We weathered the storm. The conditions and visibility started to become an issue, so we bagged it after lunch. Average temp was 10 deg with steady winds. A lot of the park is off limits so they allowed is on the North Property for free. So we threw lawn jarts and did some exploring over there. We got to a point over by Area 51 in the corner that was impassible with drifts. I got to see Stan's awesome rig up close and personal! He did a great job leading the new guy (me) around and let me test out my vehicle in different conditions. Front lockers are now on my short list. A JK hopped in with us. Again, Stan was generous enough to give him some PS fluid so he could get it off the trailer, compressor to allow them to get some air, lug wrench to change a tire mid trail, compressor to air up the spare.... He's a scholar and a gentleman to say the least. I had a great time for my first run. I tried a hill climb numerous times but was unsuccessful. Nothing got broken, so I call it a success. Wish we could got into more but I think we made the wise decision to leave when we did. I was only able to steal a few pics while driving and they aren't good. But here it is.

We did our best to make the Keystone Cruisers proud. Ha!

I did my best to try and neatly trace the areas we covered. Trailblazing really wasn't an option for us as we really didn't know the terrain and the wind was pretty brutal.
This was our first run down in. We made it the lower corner and the drifts were too deep to push through.

This is how we wondered our way out. Stopped and tried to climb up over T but we would get to the top and the powder would just bury us. My rebuilt winch works! Kinda got sideways at the top.

I had a great time and was glad a fellow Toyota guy was there.

Awesome! Glad to hear there were no real roblems and everyone got through the day ubnscathed. Snow cover permitting i can get us through the trail maze that is the North property. i can just imagine how deep some of the drfits were! Good job guys! Gary S

Thanks for posting up the storyline and pics Jody. I was bummed when we were airing up to leave and realized I didn't get any pics of you trying to make the hill climb. It was a valiant effort but without a front locker and some seriously deep mud type tread, neither of us were going to make that final push through the deep stuff and up over the crest.
Your rig performed awesomely today and I'll testify that you weren't afraid to find out what its limitations were! Great driving bro!

My son is already asking when we're getting out next. We can't wait for the next run in March.:bounce::bounce2:
