Needs some help here. If you got 2000 - can you make some pics of brake line routing?
I feel like whoever was messing with master cylinder went little further. Not just drilling holes... Lines were mismatching so they decided to get them re-bent???
I don't know.. But this routing doesn't look right.

Looks like guy was persistent until he finally realized that it's not going to work still.
Dunno. I re-read all history of service. And guess what?? This truck was services in DEALERSHIP
Starter replacement was dealer doing. After that - all "electric non-start" crap started.

I hope you never sell this truck and you and your family enjoy it for a very long time.
Still...
if you ever want to sell it, look me up - hard to find rust free truck that have been reconditioned so properly.

Not planning on selling!! For sure, it needs to pay for itself first. Starting to approach 20k. Yes, "rust free" is the thing with it. Everything else not so much. I am OK with maintaining, but I really dislike fixing someone's else stuff.

Earned some MPGs here, removed weight. I figured since I am not about to try to restore AHC, mine as well clean it up properly and get rid of it. Spend good part of the day removing AHC stuff. Reminder: System was contaminated with washer fluid, so not sure what is good in there.
Anybody needs anything here in St Louis - it's FREE. I will post on FB as well, and then it will go to scrap.

Ooooo! I'm diagnosing my AHC right now. Any chance you'd ship it all over here to Indiana? I'll gladly pay for shipping + beer.

Really don't want to :) It's very heavy stuff (if you want all of it) and it's all contaminated. I can only see if you rebuild all pieces.
That's fair enough! I'm going to run some TS diagnostics tonight and see what I can find. My guess based on symptoms is it's a height sensor and/or wiring in the front, which would certainly be smaller/easier to ship if you'd be amenable to that - like I said though, gotta do some proper diagnostics first before spinning up the parts cannon. :)

Sure. I can ship sensors no problem. Disclaimer - I have no idea if they are working. AHC was deleted long time ago, so sensors might not be good by now.

Appreciate that! I'll let you know as soon as I do. And understood on the sensors being questionable.

I will say, your experiences here really make me thankful that a hack-y CV install (no C-Clip!) was the worst thing I found while rebuilding my LX!

I am not sure I need to post name of dealership, but according to history I have all that was done at a dealer!!!
CVs also look new - they are different so I have no way to know, one have yellow band, another regular.

Side note - I am not going to worry whole lot about keeping wiring intact. It's my truck now. Amplifiers seem to be dying regardless of what I did - so will be installing aftermarket and going to cut wires.

My new CV (ordered a couple months ago) has a yellow band. The 'original' Toyota CV still left on the vehicle (unsure if it's truly original or just an OEM replacement) does not have the yellow band. It does say 'Toyoda' with a D on it, so I'm pretty confident it's OEM.

My brake lines are little harder to see but here you go anyway:

You can bypass the amplifier really easy on these. Just cut the pigtail where the speakers go into the amp and splice them in with the corresponding pigtail running from the amp to radio.

Yeah, I know. But I was worrying about keeping wiring intact. Not anymore :)

Right now trying to find Nakamichi amp wiring diagram...

Did some "cool" work. Symptoms were exact. Lights on, no communication in TechStream. Diagnosis from this topic agreed on the clock failed (resistance reading)

So I did attempt fixing it today. Will know soon (after all else assembled) if it actually worked.

Received valuable package today!! Why is there fluid in there? Yes, it was listed "assembly with fluid". Is it pre-primed or something? Do I need to do anything with it or just add fluid and continue with bleeding?
