Right on Steve. Looks like good times, cold times, but good times.

Originally had signed up for that one, but couldn't do it. Took my daughter back north to school instead on Sat/Sun and work load took care of Friday pretty well! Next time! I really want to do this!!!

Looks like a great trip! Nice pics too!

Brad - Did you end up making the trip ?

Sean-

Yes, the trip was awesome! Really cool place and I'll be back many more times I'm sure.

Now.... Death Valley.

I so wanted to go Brad! Oh well...You will need to post up some of your pics and let us in on some of the highlights of the trip. Glad you had a great trip!

Check out the link Steve posted, I put up some pics under my same screen name. Let me know next time you want to head out for the weekend.

Here's a teaser pic...

Looks like fun was had by all. Reminds me of last year. I am ready to do this again. Where is the rocky trail section you guys ran?

This was up Caruthers Canyon. You drive up and back. It shows the road going through on the map, but they said it got real narrow.

Great pics Brad! Ya, I would love to do something soon. I actually ordered the Mojave Road book the other day and I am itching to go!

I have a couple of friends that want to do the trip...Is this something a fairly stock vehicle can do?

No problem. My 4Runner is only about an inch over stock with BFG Muds and there weren't really even any obstacles. Mine was certainly the least capable vehicle there:o:D:rolleyes::D

Pray tell...which book?

Is this a trip with book and GPS loaded with the Mojave offroad region that can be done w/o any prior experienced drivers on the trip?

Brent, i have the book if you wanna borrow it,...... PM me or hit me up via email.

You can make it with the route book, printed out map from the preserve website and GPS waypoints. There are rock carins all along the trail so it makes it somewhat easy. On my Baja 540c , the route is clear the whole entire time, but that's not the way for most GPS units.

Yosh has been asking about your peach cobler... maybe a SMB / 80 / FJC run we should do? The three of us?
