Just found an all original 1972 FJ55 - Is there a color code on this thing?

I cannot find a single picture of one that was solid orange, were the 72' pigs ever offered in solid colors or were they all 2-tone?

I think some utility companies (maybe foreign markets) got single color. Most US Piggies were white w/ color.

You might think about keeping the area around the windows white, it might look pretty boring as a single color.

There are 2x others same color near me for sale on Craigslist but they are not original and have had previous body work. They do run and drive though so they have me beat there.

I wouldn't call mine solid. It has 4 different shades of crappy flat black.

Don't be haters!

Exactly,

We should buy 55’s because they are truly unique, we should spend countless hours and dollars rebuilding our truly unique 55’s to be our own version of a truly unique 55 then paint it green and white like all the other truly unique 55 owners.

Next their going to tell me I need a white 80.
