Just built my Prinsu Designs Rack

Just got mine in the mail as well, waiting on my cross bars. My rig is white, got Zach to leave it in raw aluminum with stainless hardware. great write up, this will come in handy next week!

I had mine unpainted so I was able to sand some edges--it must be water cut and is a little sharp, then I plasti--dipped it black, I like the matt finish and it looks slick.

I also purchased some door rubber to the wind sheer just to prevent any potential marks on the rig. I love the Prinsu rack, best out there.

The rack is aluminum and if it looks rusted it's because I can't paint worth a crud, I missed a couple spots underneath there. t's pristine and very, very clean aluminum. Just a good picture of my poor rattle can skills.

You bought a roof rack?! You should be making the truck taller from the bottom, I thought you said it couldn't be any taller or it wouldn't fit in the garage?

When you get married you are limited to the racks you may touch--one day you too, young Richard, will have a roof rack.

Yes it does. One of the features I like about the rack is that the crossbars can be moved/removed to suit your needs. I normally have a crossbar in place directly over the sunroof, but when I want to use the sunroof I'll move that crossbar somewhere else for that trip.

That looks awesome in raw aluminum with your truck. My black one blends right in with my black truck just as well.

It all depends on how you mount the deflector. There is some adjustability (not a lot but some). Mine doesn't touch the roof.

It's only a problem if you think it's a problem. The fact is most people won't have a clue that it's backward.
