Awesome build! Looks great, glad to see you're getting out there and using it, too.

How are you liking the pizza cutter Falkens?
Thanks Roody. I liked them when I had them. I eventually went to 34s and I’m currently on 35s.

When you go with drawers, you eventually will get a fridge slide. To keep with the Australian/South African theme, I opted for a Clearview Drop Down Fridge Slide, because I’m short at 5’6”. This thing is cool and always a conversation starter lol.

Wow! Your build isn't too far off from mine!
R²M 2013 GX 460 Overland Build
Since my wife is only 5'-1", I really like that drop down fridge. We just have two fridges, one for day trips and short weekends and we had a huge 85 qt one that after using a couple times decided it was just too big and seriously killed available space in the back. We just sold it and purchased this:
Amazon product ASIN B08NCZF438It only has one zone, which is fine since we have a very large double walled growler for holding ice. Just got it two days ago so haven't had a chance to truly test it out other than just keeping it plugged into my rig all day yesterday out in the driveway to see how it is on the battery.
One thing that's cool about is that it has Bluetooth. You download the app (either Android or IOS) and you can monitor the battery level, temperature inside, adjust the temperature, change F°/C° and more! I was checking on how it was working mid day from my patio deck! It's really cool that we don't need to open up the car to look at it.
Hopefully it holds up as well as the Alpicool (Amazon product ASIN B075R1LH8D) has for the last 4 years!

My fridge 12v power cord broke, so I upgraded to Anderson PowerPoll connectors and routed the lines using plastic cable tracks. (Got this idea from the Aussies)

I asked Expedition Essentials about making an accessory mount for the 460, and they said all they needed was a test vehicle. They’re in Washington, and I’m in California, so I wasn’t going to be able to volunteer my vehicle so I joined the GXOR Washington chapter and asked for a volunteer. Got the volunteer and the 460 got a mount made! Jeff with Expedition Essentials took care of me for my help. Was a great feeling to help bring a cool item like this to the GX market.

Always been curious about these. Do they really do anything, of any use??
What's the benefit?
So far, I’ve used them to crack the windows open discreetly while parked. I don’t remember if they’ve helped with wind noise, but i personally just like the way they look.

They can make a big difference on some vehicles. Some vehicle designs let water in more than others, especially at speed
Assume you're referring to driving on rainy days?
