Installed new tires. Replaced the 37x13.50R17 Maxxis RAZR MTs with BFG KM3s in 37x12.50R17. Noticeably smaller, but also, noticeably lighter and quicker steering response. It doesn’t look at cool or beefy, but probably more functional. So far I’m happy on road. Going to test them on trail soon.

Didn't know Marlin had this. I assume this helps with body roll on corners, mountain curves and clover-leaf on/off ramps?Took the GX to Marlin Crawler to install an AntiRock bar

Made it out to SoCal. First night, camped at Alabama Hills, next day I dropped off my damaged rear shocks at RadFlo, met ann IG friend ThatOneGurlsTaco, had dinner with some GXOR buddies and then spent the night at a friends place. Friday, hit the Gold Mountain trail and then camped with new friends near “The Squeeze”.

Same week, took the GX in to replace the driver side outer RCV boot, which the Team also found that my driver side inner boot could use replacement as well, so, now I’ve replaced 7 CV boots in one year

The following Friday, I trimmed a new RCI Engine Skid plate to fit up. Replaced the old RCI skid plate because it was for KDSS, but since I don’t have those sway bars anymore, I opted to install the Non KDSS skids for the 5th Gen 4Runner for better approach clearance.

On Saturday, June 1st, we were able to attend the Celebration of life for Mr. Marlin Czajkowski. It was a great event. He really touched many lives. I was just blown away by all the stories and experiences folks shared.

My buddy Rovie aka Adobo4runner posted his KMCs for sale. My wife saw and remembered that I’ve been wanting a set. She goes, “Look babe. Rovie’s selling his wheels for $2,500, but $2,400 is you know HELLATUNDRA.NORCAL” I was like, “I know Joe. But let me hit up Rovie for the player price.”
Long story short, Rovie hooked a brother up and I headed to pick up the wheels that night. Of course, we couldn’t separate without taking photos for the gram.

These KMC Mesa Monoblock Forged Beadlocks are not something I’d purchase for retail price. So lucky to have gotten them second hand for a lot less. These will look pretty amazing on the GX. Well, I’m hoping they will. I think they will.

Since removing my drawers, they were in the garage waiting for a new home. Luckily one of my buddies wanted to upgrade his storage, so my Ironman4x4 drawers and Clearview drop down fridge slide found a new home.
