Forgot to update the build thread, sorry in advanced for doubling up posts from other threads but I want to document everything in my build thread too.

Finally got the BFG 35x12.5s mounted up on the SCS Stealth 6 that I picked up from another forum member. 17x8.5 -12 matte gunmetal finish. Also got one blemished wheel direct from SCS for the spare. (So far can’t find the blemish!)

Still need to do the cab mount relocate and mash a bunch of fender well/pinch weld. Have new bumps ready to go in as well, extended metal tech rear and bahh can’t remember the fronts I got, will update when I install them. Just waiting for the weather to improve, or to get a spot inside at my buddies shop.
Also planning on adjustable rear links to move the wheel a little back in the well. (Prob later in the spring)

Loving the look, surprised by the smooth ride and I didn’t lose as much power as expected. About 15mpgs so far, but haven’t had a full tank through yet. (Yes I have a pedal commander) haven’t bumped it up though, still on city -2.

It sure looks like you're going to be rubbing those rear wheels on the back of your fenders!
Hope your new rear bumper gives a little relief back there.
Here is my rig with 35"s trying to stuff them in the rear fender. It's real close with the MetalTech bumpers.

They have group buys occasionally and I was able to get mine from one of the last ones. Here’s their product site link.

It is worth the $$. With it being an android-based device you can install various apps on it. Torque Pro is one of those apps that’s insanely useful. Here’s a pic of carplay (Waze).

Planning the rear to have a lot more clearance than the metal tech bumper, especially because it will be tube.
But maybe I need to move the wheel forward instead of back lol time will tell.

Had to pull the tint on the front installed by the previous owner. While I liked having it, as of April 2022 NY state inspection stations are not allowed to pass anything with front tint, they are suppose to check.. while I was going to find a shop that would just overlook it, or try and get an exemption, in the end I just pulled it off. To be honest it was hard to see out at night lol. Hopefully the rear is ok, as I think it’s oem.
Went easier than expected with a heat gun, took maybe 5 minutes a window tops.

In California, front (sides and windshield) are to the letter of the law illegal. Albeit, it's not often enforced but it could always be an excuse to be pulled over if local authorities are speciousness about anything.

I don't mind all the windows behind the driver being tinted, and actually like how dark the factory tint is already, but personally I don't care for the front windows being tinted. The whole purpose of off roading and overlanding is to see nature at it's best, so why obscure and mute the views with window tint? See just how deep that blue sky can be at 10,000 feet, how deep green the forest is, all the colors of sediment in the strata while carving through slot canyons, the deep aqua blue green along Highway 1 around Big Sur. Need I go on?
Nah, I'll leave the window tint to all the street cars and limo's.

It’s always been illegal in NY to have the fronts tinted more than factory, but until now they didn’t check for it at inspection. I agree I don’t want any more reasons to be pulled over. But I did like the tint for my dog, and general temp inside the cabin.
Usually have the windows down when I’m offroad.

It’s funny because I live in an area where a significant number of vehicles have illegal tints, tried a few tint shops and asked where they get inspected, maybe they were worried I was a cop, but all said they have no idea and played dumb. I’m like, you sell window tint, what do your clients do… nothing… one said people remove it for inspection then reapply it… no thanks on that.

Most of the southern states allow tints because of the heat, like Arizona, New Mexico, etc.
Regarding wheeling with the windows down, I too like that, but my wife doesn't like her hair blowing in her face and most often since we have a lot of desert here, too much dust.

My wife doesn't like windows down either. Kinda irritating because if it were up to me I'd always on dry days have at least the drivers rear open a bit.

Yup, Summer time, my sun roof never closes. Since I have the RTT, I don't get anything (leaves, etc.) blowing in it either so it helps to keep my rig cool while in the office all day.

Haven't updated the thread for a while so here is some catching up.

Finally got around to installing the DRT cab mount reallocation. Full write up here: DRT fabrication cab/body mount relocate on a GX460 - https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/drt-fabrication-cab-body-mount-relocate-on-a-gx460.1293826/
Also mashed the pinch welds and cut the fender liners back.

Got both rear rows of seats out, started with the 3rd, built a temporary platform, then a couple months later decided the 2nd row had to go! I’ll throw a temp board down while I design a full length platform and some drawers. Already happy with the added space. I could count on one hand how many times I’ve had people in the 2nd row over the last 2 years of ownership and never in the 3rd.

Finished building a front skid plate. 3/16 steel, with diff bump out. As high clearence as I could get it. I’ll start a dedicated thread for this with files when I have a minute. Planning on fabricating a mid and rear soon enough. All CAD based designing and CNC plasma cut and welded in my shop/studio.

Gotta love that third row rear access panel! It sure saves a lot of interior panel dismantling.

I’ve decided to pull the whole carpet liner and rear plastic panels all the way to the rear doors to add in some sound deadening before I build the forever platform system. Also wanna get the seat belts out. Not looking forward to this but it’s super loud in the cabin now.

I believe someone on this forum has found a source for color matching cover caps that snap on, to go over the seat belt delete.
Was it MrTorgue???

Lemme know how this goes. I plan on doing the same thing next year or during the winter. It's a little too loud for my tastes.

Hey MrTorgue, didn't you do a rear seat belt delete and get caps for them? Or am I having a senior moment...

Bought the caps, didn't delete yet. The caps are the wrong color anyway.
