thx. but ya, i've tried googling and most of those sellers require to buy the cartridges in cases and I don't want a whole bunch of that stuff.

If all else fails, go to a NAPA or something and see if they know of a similar product.........i would print out a page that tells you the characteristics of the sikaflex. Might work, might not........marine shops (i.e. West Marine, even Bass Pro) have a lot of marine sealants that might work as well.

EDIT:
Since im bored, i did some research

3M 5200 Marine Sealant And Adhesive seems to be a good substitute.......and I know for a fact that Bass Pro sells little tubes for like $10

The links show that with the exception of cure time, the specs are pretty close. The tensile strength and operating temp are about the range and the % elongation to break is quite a bit higher

thanks pman, I'll research em and report back. thank you sir

Are you posting a write up on the install?:hhmm::idea::grinpimp:

I started reading the instructions and they are for a round air cleaner. Do we even have a pre-spinner on the air cleaner housing? Looking at the square air cleaner we have it should mate up to the funky looking supplied rubber hose, no?

I still have a spare 4½" hole saw for sale.

yes, our airbox will mate up with the supplied hose, at least after looking at the install sheet. Christo should chime in on this, as his guy has already installed at least one, if not more, of the new designs.

My local fab shop is doing work on some mil HiLuxes. They have TJM snorkels. Pretty damn sweet they are! They won't let me take any pics...

Mine is one of the 100s that has the new snorkel...with working power antenna (:smokin:) thanks to Joe @ Slee.

There's no "fix", the shape of the new snorkel doesn't have it enter the fender where the power antenna motor sits, so there's no need to remove it.

Didnt I read somewhere that the snorkel needs to be dented(like the 80's) to clear the antenna itself?

The picture from the link in the first post shows a bumper I have never seen before. Anybody know the details on it? It appears to show a toyota badge on it.

I'm still planning on doing this install myself and with a heated pipe for indenting the snork to clear the antenna sounds pretty cinch.

Can Bighead or anyone post pics (closeup if possible) of the indented area?

No need to make a mountain out of a mole hill. Put the template on, cut your holes, test fit the snork and you can easily see where it contacts the antenna grommet. Remove snork, press into that area with a hot pipe, test fit, repeat.

Agreed but visuals help plenty especially for my inexperience. If there are resources to help us along I like to get it right the first time. Just sayin.

That is an OEM, dealer (Australia) installed bumper. Can be had if somebody really wanted it but won't be cheap.
